Recent Strategic Projects

THMC represents a business with a unique entrepreneurial philosophy, backed up by genuine market knowledge and understanding of everything ‘Hotels & Hospitality’. We do not limit ourselves to providing traditional or our own proprietary bespoke solutions, but will work with owners, investors and developers to initiate and deliver ambitious projects in the sector.

Below is an insight into some of the projects we are currently engaged in.

New Touring Route Hotel Group

We are currently working for a group of investors to build a group of some 8 to 10 hotels around one of the UK’s foremost ‘touring routes’. A clear opportunity was identified in an area where there are intense levels of leisure demand, but generally very poor-quality hotel and restaurant provision.

The THMC team are leading this project to fund, acquire, invest in and ultimately manage this exciting new group of hotels.

Filling Station Plus

Working with one of the UK’s most successful independent petrol and retail forecourt owners and operators, The THMC team is leading a strategy to develop a group of some 15 budget hotels to be built on spare land sitting alongside the petrol stations.

This has involved THMC in everything from funding to hotel design, branding to setting up operating systems and procedures. Using our extensive contact networks, we have been able to identify all parties to bring this project to fruition.

Breathing New Life into Legacy Buildings

THMC has entered into a joint venture with an entrepreneur who is extremely well versed in the hotel sector to develop a national group of hotels. The strategy involves working with local Borough and City Councils to identify currently redundant, publicly-owned legacy buildings with the clear objective of converting these into high quality boutique hotels, providing a new purpose for the buildings, local employment and a new source of income for the councils.

The Hotel Management Company’s involvement includes assisting with fund-raising the development and eventual management of the new hotels.
